Seraphiel The pardoner.
here i am
His stomach rumbled as he approached the imposing building known among the wolves as the abandonded factory. Seraphiel had never traveled this far before, dead or undead. Never one to be nervous, he didn't stop to stare or rethink his decision. Instead the wolf walked right up to the shadowy entrance and poked his head around corner of the door frame. The dim lighting swallowed the wolf, dulling the vivid dark colors of his hide. Nothing except boxes and long hallways could be seen, but the rising smell of a wolf pack kept him from moving further in. Wet, black nostrils twitched and Seraphiel craned his head back round his shoulder. Either he went ahead with this or he turned tail and fled.
The wound on his neck was stretching tight and starting to ache, a constant reminder of all he'd been through. A mighty king, a warrior and friend was reduced to walking around, undead. His stomach churned at the thought, still not comfortable with himself as he were. Silvery gray mists rose up from nowhere and began to cloud around his paws. Another nuisance for him, another reminder of how changed he was. It was much needed at the moment though, and Seraphiel reset himself so he was once again facing the empty halls. In this day and age, he knew that where he stood was as close to a border that he'd find. With that, he barked softly, cocking his head to a side as the noise echoed through the lower parts of the building.
It should be long before a wolf arrived, so Seraphiel remained standing. As the mists receeded, the wolf found himself losing concentration, deep in thought.
the pardoner.

It wasn't long before Jigsaw picked up on the unknown sent, as his lie perched upon the belt the dog food was carried on. However Jigsaw had shoved all the rotten food onto the floor, as he sat unusually straight up. His feathered wings pressed against his muscular back, his mixed optics held a emotionless gaze. Yet in his mind there was a war, you see Jigsaw was not like your average wolf. Infact his mind holds him captive, a prisoner in his own little world. Something in his brain is off balance, causing the brute to have mulitple personalities. Jigsaw sneered, mized optics narrowing slightly and the Beta of Seaphilm lept off the belt and onto the cement floor with an almost silent thud. As he made his way towards the factory entrance, a soft bark invaded his sensitive auds. His dominant personality, the dark, twisted, and blood lust was in full force. Yet it could change in an hour or within a matter of seconds, with Jigsaw everyday was a new day. One minute he could be this dark hearted, cold killer beast and the next he could be caring, and loving. You just never knew which side of Jigsaw you'd see, some wonder how he could be a Beta. Being crazy and all, but nothing has been said of it and eventually others get use to him, well as much as they can get. As Jigsaw neared the entrace, his mixed optics were quick to spot the rotting beast. His tassel and skull held in a Beta fashion. He peered at the undead brute for a moment, before his jowls parted and he revealed his words to him, his deep voice ringing with darkness and possibly a tint of insanity."Hello wolf..I am Jigsaw, Beta of Seraphilm."Dirt clung to his mixed hued pelt, making it look as if he never bathed himself. Little did the wolf know, that he was merely on the second floor ealier and had collected some dust is all."I suggest you sumbit fully before my Alpha shows."He hissed, emotionless optics drilling into the lone brute as if he were trying to rip him to shreds with a single look. For this moment in time he was in his dark state of mind, yet you never know lies ahead with him.

Oooooooo so cold! Clink clink clink. The sound was very common in these halls. Clink clink clink. It announced the arrival of the Seraphim alpha. Clink clink clink. The true Queen of Ice. Frostie. Clink clink clink. The sound of claws on ice rang around the corridors as Frostie walked from her mini palace. Sweeps of ice rose in waves all over the top floor, forming a glistening blue and white cave shape, with beatiful swirls and icicles decorating every inch. The floor is completely covered in glass-like ice, making it dangerous for anyone other than Frostie to travel on. Of course, if you'd been here a long time, you'd be used to it. Stepping down the stairs is easy, as only the top step is icy. As Frostie descended, her figure became more and more pronounced. Not too muscular but powerful enough to defend herself. Fur an incredible variety of blues and whites, including the blue flame tipped tail. The tiny particles of ice on the edge of every strand of fur were dangerous, if she wanted them to be. Other times it just caused whoever brushed against her to shiver. Her ability to walk across thin ice and the ability to conrtol ice itself meant she could make a bridge across anything. Very usefull. For now, her main focus was this new wolf. From its stance and bark, it didn't seem to be a threat, and Jigsaw was there anyway, so she didn't need to worry. Con wasn't around yet, though that was probably a good thing. No distractions. "Welcome to the Seraphim Packlands," Frostie said as she approached this wolf. "I am the alpha of this pack. Queen of the ice if ever there was one, but you can call me Frostie. Jigsaw, stand down, let this guest introduce himself."

His pads couldn't carry the ivory King of Elysium fast enough. He was using flit, but even then he still seemed to be moving slowly - in his eyes, at least. The massive Guardian glided over rocks, using his Shape-Shifting power to grow wings when needed. His third extra power - reading others' mind - remained not in use. It was handy having the extra powers, but sometimes his own sufficed. Projecting his thoughts and creating hallucinations were gifts and talents he was thankful for. But none of this lingered in his mind. He had been in Elysium, throwing out the Out Of Date food substances in the cafeteria when he caught a scent he'd know anywhere. Frostie's scent. His relative, separated by a few cousin ships. He'd know her long ago, and now, it seemed, they would meet again. Pausing at the entrance, the ivory male shook his pelt, not wanting to track in dust or anything. Then he padded in, pausing a few meters behind the two wolves aside from Frostie. He ignored them, and with a wry grin at his relative, chuckled. Well, well. Our mothers' always said we were like siblings, and this just goes to show it. When did you get so demanding? Shadow Spirit laughed, his occuli never off of Frostie, and his demeanor and occuli both twinkling with a friendly intent. His body language showed no harm, and only to Frostie, through his thoughts, he sent the words Guess who? Along with several images of them playing together and having fun. The homme grinned again, awaiting her reply.

Oooooooo so cold! Icey particles froze into pretty little daggers on her fur as a familiar scent and sound hit Frostie. Family? But who? The scent hit so fast it was hard to recognise. It was almost like he'd materialised on the doorstop. Which in this place isn't really unusual. As she wtched him approach, heard his words and saw the pictures, everything clicked. "Shadow?" she asked, getting very excited. The ground under her paws froze, forming small icey cystals underneath her. Someting which happened a lot when she was younger. Her powers were always destined to be icy. Though her lack of control over them was often one of the reasons SS and her would laugh. Now of course, she was known as the Ice Queen. No-one could better her at anything cold. "Where've you been, how did you find me, what are you doing here, where do you live now, why did you stop contacting me when we were little, how are you?!" Frostie burst out at a speed so fast it would be a miracle if he even heard one word of it. Her tail was wagging madly now, her excitement obvious. Some wolves never grow up. "Jigsaw, will you deal with this wolf please, it's a... family emergency," she said, grinning at Shadow Spirit

Seraphiel The pardoner.
one, two, three & four?
Everything happened within a short space of time, but Seraphiel was ready. Confident that he'd not be turned away, the wolf merely tucked his tail and lowered his head when the first wolf found him. As the distance closed, Seraphiel kept his eyes focused on the male. Discreetly he wrinkled his maw, trusting the shadowy doorway to hide the expression of distaste. Generally Seraphiel was a gentleman to others, whether he knew them or not. To this one though? There would be no such friendliness. It was everything about the winged beast that he found detestable. His strut, his scent and his voice. Hidden in the greeting, or (was it a warning?) was an instability that Seraphiel had learned the hard way never to trust.
It was the Queen he intended to please, not this dark creature, but he doubted she would forgive any rudeness from him towards one already established in the pack. Lips parted slowly, and he spoke with the rusty, broken voice of one undead. "I'll submit, Beta, when your Alpha arrives." Seraphiel attempted to smile at the wolf, a smear of icing on a half-baked try at civility. It was hard, when his entire being cried out, I despise wolves like you.
Chills began to run down his spine, and Seraphiel stiffened, looking to the Beta in disbelief. Was this coming from him, or...? And then he heard the Queen's greeting and in an instant his belly was low on the ground, furs pressed against the cool ground. Deep brown ears flicked towards her with interest, and he gazed upwards at her as she addressed the other wolf. "Alpha..." He murmured, "...Frostie." Mistress of the arctic, with great beauty and inner warmth. It would be a pleasure to work under her.
Seraphiel refused to look again at the one Frostie called Jigsaw. Rather he kept his attention on the Ice Queen as he carefully lifted his body from the ground. "I am Seraphiel. Your humble servant." Somehow he wanted to show her the appreciation he felt in her welcome, and he wanted to hear of his acceptance. Surely she knew why he was here, what wolf trespassed on another's land without reason?
The arrival of a fourth wolf ruined his timing. Another great being, Seraphiel guessed Alpha as he glanced behind him. The wolf showed no signs of submission, and seemed at ease in the presence of Seraphim's Queen. Seraphiel knew, even before Frostie spoke, that he had been brushed aside for this male. That left him with...with...and Seraphiel finally looked at Jigsaw. He couldn't help the gleam of distrust that lit his eyes. Deal with me, huh? Well, as the Alpha wished. He grit his teeth and slunk past Frostie into the factory. "As you wish, Frostie. Please, attend to your family and don't worry yourself with me...us..."
Then he was standing a few feet from Jigsaw, splitting the wolves into two seperate groups. Now the Alphas could leave, or stay, but the two suboordinates would be out of their way. "Perhaps..." He said tersely to the Beta, "...you would like to show me around the building?" Seraphiel stood taller now, than any time previous...but kept his auburn tail between his legs. He was no fool after all, and a beta was a rank far higher than his.
the pardoner.

Shadow Spirit laughed, his powerful laughter filling the area with sounds of his merriment. No. It's God. I'm here to... Who did you think it was? Of course it's me! The Silver King grinned, padding forward a few steps, grinning at her last comment. The way she talked... She seemed to be like a chipmunk on coffee with ADHD. She was crazy! He could only just make out her questions, and even then it was very barely. Slooooowly, Frost, I got dizzy from listening to you. I've been in this forest quite a distance away from here, I caught your scent and followed it, I'm alpha male of Elysium, my mother left us, and I'm pretty good, how about you? Shadow smiled, ignoring the twinge he felt when he spoke of his mother. She had been smart leaving his ass of a father, but unwise in leaving him there to suffer. Needless to say he and his father did not remain in touch. He hadn't remained in touch with either of his fathers. Both Beau and Lomond Star had left him, whether it was beaten or alone. Yes, what she means by family crisis is that she going to tell me off a few hundred times then tackle me. Not a pretty sight. He grinned, before returning his gaze to Frostie. He flashed her a joking smile.

Oooooooo so cold! Frostie grinned. Her tail swished, the flame-like pattern on its tip standing out brightly. It often seemed to give out light, like a real flame. Of course, it didn't really, but the spots of ice that clung to it were biggerthan anywhere else, so the light that hit it reflected off the frozen water molecules. "Sorry," she said, soaking up the now icy floor so that it went back to its original quality. She took in his sentences, listgening to the response of each question. "Wow," she said, weakly. His mum had left him? How sad. She quickly changed the subject. "Your an alpha?" she said. "It must run in the family. Mum's side obviously." The two of them were second cousins, their mother being cousins. Quite confusing if you think about it too much, but never mind. She turned to see the new wolf and Jigsaw seperate themselves. It was a bit nasty to ignore someone brave enough to come into another wolf's territory. It was obvious by his words and actions that he was no threat, and wanted to be a part of her pack. He already seemed to look up to her. She stepped away from SS and towards this newbie. "I do appologise for this development, it's very rude of me, I know. I am very happy that you have chosen Seraphim as your pack. As you know, I am the alpha, Jigsaw here is the first Beta, and Con, whom you will most likely soon meet, is the second Beta. Our pack is slightly different to others, as our heirachy is described using the human language, Greek. Alpha and Beta are the same. Then, Gammas are fighters, Deltas are hunters and Zetas look after pups. Then there is Omega as usual. The heirachy is in that order, meaning when you first join, you join at Omega level, unless I give permission for something else," she said, speaking much more slow and calm than before. " Anything else you need, ask me or Jigsaw. We'll be happy yo answer anything."

Auds flicked as Forstie approached, and as she spoke he glanced over to her and nodded yet spoke no words. It wasn't much longer before his gaze fell upon the brute whom called himself, Seraphiel. A sly smirk slid upon his maw as he groveled at Frostie's feet, a pure suck up for sure. Not that Frostie didn't deserve full respect from the undead wolf, he just seemed to take it to the extreme. Once Seraphiel finally lifted himself to his paws, Jigsaw found himself fighting with the voices in his mind. He growled, mixed optics closed tightly and he shook his skull every few seconds as if trying to get rid of the voices. A few more seconds passed before his optics slid open and just as they did, Seraphiel was right beside him and speaking. Wanting Jigsaw to show him around the building."Alright."He offered no smart ass remark, just a simple and quick answer. Jigsaw glanced to Shadow Spirit, realizing how long it had been since he saw him. He didn't mind him, then again he hardly ever saw him. So not much was said of him, but he didn't seem too bad. As Frostie turned and padded up to the two, a flashed her a sly smirk, auds perked and listening to each and every word closely. He gave a small wolfish bow to his best friend, and whispered to her."I'll show Seraphiel around the factory, go on and chat with your cousin."He nuzzled her neck, as his mind battled out the two personalities. Evil between caring, yet as quick as the caring personality showed, it was quick to be beaten down by the dark side of Jigsaw. His facial features seemed to darken and his mixed optics seemed to lose all emotions and became dull."I'll see you later Frost."His deep voice held the darkness too it once more, with a tint of insanity aswell. Yet Frostie knew Jigsaw, so despite his fucked up mind it seemed she card deeply for him, in a friendship way that is. After all Jigsaw doesn't desire a mate currently, nor did he speak of such things with her. The massive winged beast turned and slowly crept into the factory, halting, he glanced over his shoulder. Mixed optics boreing into Seraphiel once more, and at the moment a evil smirk slid upon his maw."Well, you coming? He questioned, mixed optics never once straying from his rotting form.

Seraphiel The pardoner.
here we go
As the Queen addressed him again, Seraphiel was pure attentiveness. Not a word would she ever speak in his presence that he wouldn't absorb. By listening, responding and working hard, Seraphiel had paved his previous life. Doing it all over again was repetitive, but if he was to enjoy this gift of life anew, the work would be worth it. "Hunter?" Intriguing title that, perhaps such a thing would give him the freedom to roam farther and longer than any of the others. Independence mixed with packlife, a combination would suit his needs perfectly. Later, Frostie and he would talk about it later. "Thank you, Frostie." Again, the wolf smiled, eyes closing for a brief moment of happiness. Nothing was better than a feeling of acceptance.
And he mustn't forget, the other Alpha. "Sir." Seraphiel murmured, eyes open again...looking towards the male, but never making contact. A simple word that greeted the other Alpha, as well as dismising Seraphiel from his presence. It never hurt to appreciate any wolf in leadership, no matter the pack. Especially when Frostie seemed to have such interest in him.
Then it was Jigsaw and himself, walking slowly away from the entrance. Seraphiel allowed the Beta to take the lead, walking a few paces behind him. He could feel the burning sensation of Jigsaw's eyes watching him. Was he being asessed or sized up? Possible, he could see the smirk toying at Jigsaw's lips. There was a lot to this wolf that Seraphiel didn't understand. Dedication to Frostie, as witnessed earlier...and here, an underlying current of darkness. I still don't like you. "Right behind you, beta."
the pardoner.

i527.photobucket.com/albums/cc360/KistenSaysRawr/0959621001225595451KistenSaysRawr.jpg[/img] I'm going to tell you what I tell everyone I know. Sir implies that I'm in some way better than you. I'm not. Shadow Spirit or Shadow will do, okay? Shadow studied this male for a second or two, and then his gaze shifted to the beta, taking in his detail as well. It might come in handy some day. The massive alpha flashed a friendly, non-threatening grin at both males, his silver banner flicking as he thought quickly and gently to Frostie. They seem like good pack members. Take good care of them. His soft smile grew softer as he shook his impeccably clean pelt, sending droplets of the earlier shower flying. He seemed lost in thought. Thoughts about Renoa, probably. He couldn't get the Omega femelle out of his head. Everytime he blinked; he saw her, when he thought; he saw her. He wouldn't be surprised if some images of her delicate body had been sent to Frostie by mistake. She had him addicted. He wanted to rush home now and find her. He wanted to spend time finding out everything about her. He wanted to know oh so much, but he'd be lucky if he found anytime to do it in. An Alpha's job is neverending. He'd be lucky if he found time to breathe! Flit helped a lot. Shapeshifting too. On those occasions that he could he liked to change into a bird and fly high above his home. He could think then, and be alone. Isolated. Happy. Able to express himself anyway he liked without having to worry about being strong for the pack. He could be who he was. Naturally SS was very shy. He seemed outgoing but when he spoke to new people he wanted to crawl under a rock and die. He was never much of a "Party Animal". He hadn't been one of those begging humans for food. He had hunted for himself, by himself. Only family was comfortable for him, which is why he liked Frostie so. His sisters had been unsympathetic about his being beaten. No one that knew had cared. And so his self-confidence had suffered as a result. He had been betrayed too many times to trust completely. But Frostie cared. But she didn't know how it had felt growing up, being turned blind, and (Thankfully) regaining his sight.

Oooooooo so cold! "Hunter sounds great," she said, nodding, and making a mental note to remember this and announce it. Frostie smiled at her pack members as she watched them walk away. An alien thought rushed into her head, and Shadow's voice asked her to take care of them. "I will, don't worry," she said, a sly grin on her face as though the answer was obvious. A strange picture of a female seemed to float towards her, but she couldn't see it clearly, as though it was in the corner of her eye. Her eyes rolled over to Shadow, and it was obvious he was lost in thought. Was that femme someone he was interested in? She grinned, slinking closer to him. His thoughts should distract him from her movements, though her naturally cold aura may alert him before she reached him. Her plan was to approach silently, and then scare him with intense cold, whilst asking him a question. Fun... well for her anyway. Shadow may not quite enjoy it as much. She circled behind him, keeping her ice inside of her and not in her surrondings. She took a wider circle: if he touched her fur he'd notice her. She came up as close as she could behind his ear, grinning to herself. Forcing her paws forwards, a blast of frozen air engulfed the two of them. Whether he'd noticed or not, this would still shock him. Of course, it wasn't strong enough to harm him in anyway, just make him jump. A small blizzard of freezing air whipped around them, snow and wind whooshing his fur up. Hers stayed immaculately straight, the frozen layer over it making it virtually impossible to mess up. "Who's the girl?" she asked, still grinning as the mini-blizzard span around them, dieing down after the initial shock.

As Serphiel Crept along side of him, he glanced to Frostie and Shadow Spirit one last time before pushing forward. His feathered wings relaxing slightly as the drooped at his sides, yet never once did they brush against the cement floor of the factory. Muscles rippled beneath his mixed pelt upon each and every powerful stride, yet he was sure to not get too far ahead of the newcomer. Glancing to the staircase ahead of him, his jowls parted and he revealed his words to the undead wold"The second floor mostly belongs to Frostie, i reside in second furthest room. Frostie in the last, and Convitoise has yet to claim his spot."As he spoke the second Beta's name, Jigsaw grit his teeth in pure hatred. He hated him for everything he did to Frostie, no matter what state of mind Jigsaw was in the fact that he hated Con never changed one bit, infact that was the only thing that didn't change."Feel free to take a spot here, somewhere, but not on the second floor newcomer. "As he reached the middle of his sentence his volce seemed to change, it seemed to hold a pupish tone to it. Tassel began to wag playful as the guardian watched a beetle crawl across the floor, the pounched and caught the blackbug between his paws. Welcome to Jigsaw's pupish state of mind, he is not much of a Beta during this moment. Jigsaw has over 60 different personalities, they call themselves "The Troops." At the age of 6 months, Jigsaw "slept" and "The Troops" took over to protect him. You see, he was abused verbally and physically by his father several times, night after night. Sometimes even infront of Frostie, now his mother was just verbally abusive, not that it made it right it. Frostie has not seen, the real Jigsaw in a very very long time. "The Troops" say he went into hiding, and that they were to keep him safe. Now with his father out of the picture, they remain guarding just incase he may someday return. Little do they know, that his father was killed two years ago.
With his skull cocked to the side, Jigsaw eyed Seraphiel with his pink tongue hanging out of his mouth and panting quietly. Tassel wagged slightly."Come play!"The pupish voice remained, and with his feathered wings pinned to his back he rolled onto his back and flailed his powerful legs around in the air all while growling playfully. Boy this brute must be confused, and like many he is probably wondering how one could hold such a rank...Just like everyone else..ooc: Frostie should come see what Jigsaw is doing in his odd state of mind and explain Jigsaws corrupt mind to Seraphiel. :)

Seraphiel The pardoner.
here we go
Words to take to heart, an open greeting from the Alpha of another pack. Seraphiel sniffed at the male, silently heeding the warning. Was it a warning? no less of that and more of an extended hand in friendship. Well it was pleasant of Shadow to to be so open, but Seraphiel refused to accept it. Of course he wouldn't show his opinion here and now -- if ever, but Seraphiel found it hard to respect a leader who lowered himself in such a way. By allowing a wolf not in his pack to -at the least verbally- treat them like a near equal. One could blame his twisting history for such elite behavior and thoughts; flippantly choosing who to respect and who not too. But it was in this manner he had risen to greatness, choosing to suck up or not and he always made the right choice. So now he had three different mental lists to keep: wolves he didn't like, wolves he didn't care for and wolves he'd be loyal too until the sun set. Easy enough if he kept everything as clear cut as that.
Lowering his head enough to cover his unhealing wound, Seraphiel turned away for the last time. Moving swiftly after Jigsaw (such a ragged, dark being, how did Frostie put up with him in the pack? and by gods! how did he attain Beta?) Brown eyes peered up the lonely staircase, noting the unstable rotting wood. Good thing he wasn't welcome up there, last thing Seraphiel wanted was to break another part of his already beaten body. "Don't worry wolf, I won't go near there." Jigsaw didn't hear him, at least not that Seraphiel could see. Hatred? Anger? Something was going on inside the winged beast's head at the mentio of the second floor. So there was someone who ticked Jigsaw off, huh? Useful knowledge! Should he try and push the red warning button? A well-timed question about this, Convitoise?
No, no he couldn't even if he wanted to because Jigsaw was changing on him. Nothing physical happened, well granted, his voice changed and his entire demeanor. Nervous now, Seraphiel coiled back against one of the walls, no longer caring about the stairs or their 'tour' but freaked out by the puppy that had awakened within the beta. As far from Jigsaw as he could be, Seraphiel shook his head slowly -- what a tortured world your mind must be. The beta had caught something, and then he let it go only to roll around on the ground like some kind of unpedigreed mutt. Oh he couldn't help the snarl that crawled onto his stoid face! Nor the haughty, amused laugh that followed. He wanted to walk away from the crazed wolf, but already he'd shown enough disrespect. You only look down on a higher ranked wolf if you wanted to lose your life. Heh, guess that didn't matter to him then! He'd already lost one!
Frostie's face flickered in the back of his mind and Seraphiel clucked his tongue, dropping the disgusted look. Well if Jigsaw was 'only a pup' at the moment, the worst Seraphiel's behavior could have done was hurt his feelings. Best to soothe them and...and...play with the wolf. For the alpha! For high and lofty goals! Repeat the mantras and it will all be better.
"Of course I'll play Jigsaw!' Silky smooth words flowed off his tongue and Seraphiel lowered his entire body until he was crouched against he floor. The wolf pounced towards Jigsaw, avoiding the wolf's flailing legs and landing with a skid near his head. He batted at the male's head with a soft paw, pushing a little harder than he would with a real pup. Made sense after all, Jigsaw was ten times the size of a small one. Rump lifted, Seraphiel sashayed backwards in a play bow, moving until his back legs hit the start of the stairs. He leapt again, this time with more weight and the intent to actually land on Jigsaw. With this much force, the two of them would be rolling in a locked embrace down the hall.
the pardoner.
