Winter. It's cold and newly fallen snow litters the area and vegetation. Prey is scarce and Breeding and Whelping is out of season. The winds are whipping up and many have taken to finding a nice warm place to settle in while winter passes over.

In The Past Here go old/finished threads to read back upon. If we have moved a thread here and you wish for it to be replaced, please send a staff meber a pm giving the thread's link and where it was. Enjoy the past.
Old Junkyard Cars, washing machines and all types of old scraps are found piles to the north end, leaving a largely uncovered section. The uncovered section of the site is flat, fenced, and includes the store rooms and reception used by the original salvage yard owners. An old building and the underground storage tanks remain, and the other structures and storage tanks have been dismantled and removed, leaving other largely cemented areas. The remaining structures are included within the fenced area, and the only enterance that isn't chained off is a hole in the fence behind most of the metal.
Abandonded Factory The factory is roughly located just short of being outside of town. It was once made for making canned animal food, and still has the belts where the food moved along. Nothing works for the power has been cut off, but there are still multiple boxes of old food laying around, including biscuits. The offices have long been cleared out, and yet make good spots for living. Out back is a paddock, which leads back into town. There are also a few sheds, as well as a staircase leading to a second story of storage rooms. Up here, there is carpet but everywhere else is mainly cement, but is very open and decently sized.
St. James Clock Tower Large and graceful, the clock tower stopped ticking long ago. Now, it is just a large building with no one to look after it, however it makes a great shelter. To enter, there is a few missing bricks around the bottom of the building, and that leads into the shade of what used to be the main enterance. Inside the tower, there are stairs that lead to the very top. On the way up, there is one platform that has little doors that used to open on the hour, now they are limp and can easily be pushed aside. If the stairs are followed, up the top it opens into a fairly spaced area with large screws and various metal objects that used to keep the old thing going. The floor consists of cement around the main areas of the clock, and metal cages that lead to each spot. Only light that reaches inside their if through the clock's almost faded face.
Football Field Hardly anyone comes here now, and those who do seem to ignore the overly large canines that roam the area. It's large, and the grass remains constantly green. Down one end is an old long jump pit, but that is now filled with sticks and hasn't been cleaned for years. Near the main enterance into the field, their is an old canteen and comentator's office.. Both are carpeted, and despite having been abandonded, are both in okay quality. Are are large desks in each, and the canteen has boxes of old food.
Dance Club On the way out of the town is a dance club. It's normally always open, and yet only a few people pass through it. The building is old and sleezy looking, with broken flashing neon signs and the smell of smoke and alcohol. Many people don't care about the wolves if they see them, and they usually leave food scraps behind on the four outside tables or in the bins anyway. Out the back their is like an alley way, with one large dumpster where all the rubbish goes. Around the other side is a car park, which is barely used but is stained with oil and tire marks none the less. Sometimes people drag race down the street out front, for it is long and narrow. Across the street is a vacant block, and that stretches a fair distance. Most of the block is cement, but there is an island of grass near the middle.

Subway Dark, cold and often puddle filled. The subway is old, but yet still in use. Walls drip with broken pipes, and are covered with graffitti and posters, not to mention most of the bricks and tiles are crumbling. Trains still rumble through, and generally on weekday early mornings the suits come through to rush along to work. All along the walls are old metal benches, and along the entire platform are two toilets down either end from each other. The neon sign that announces what train is coming died long ago, but still attempts to flash on creating only half words. Once a week a cleaner will come through, but they don't do much and at night the homeless find this a popular place to sleep, for now the workers have given up trying to chase them away. Trains stop coming through around sundown, and start early at sunup.

Intown Graveyard One large angel stands out over all the other statues, it's wings are spread wide and it appears untouched. Many people think the angel is cursed, some just think it's luck. Most of the other grave stones have crumbled, been graffittied on or smashed down by unrespectful kids. Hardly anyone mourns here anymore, not even does a grave keeper come through to clean up. Many graves are over grown with once kept flowers, or are now smothered with weeds. Still, it is beautiful in a somewhat morbid way. The center feature is the previously mentioned angel, which stands on a little slope towards the back right corner of the field. Otherwise, all else is flat and apart from one or two stones, the graves are pretty much all even.

Suburbs
8 Mile Beach The beach is as suggest, 8 miles long. Mostly along the shore the water is a nice crystal blue, long abandonded or unreachable by all humans. The sand is fine and can easily get caught in the fur of an animal, but is soft and worth walking alone. Along the edges of the whole beach is a forrest like treeline, making it even more private and wonderfully peaceful. A great place to come.
Old Farmlands The lands were once lush and filled with stock and other animals. Cows used to walk the paddocks, eating down the grass.. Now it is slightly overgrown and weedy, for there are no longer enough stock to keep it low anymore. Every so often a cow might stumble forwards, forgotten or long lost. Vegetable grow in wild patches around the house, and even that now is starting to get overgrown with vines and weeds. Many of the windows are in okay condition, but a few are smashed. On the from door is a doggy door and rodents and other such animals live inside the farm house now. Further back in the paddocks are various sheds, some even filled with old hay or even a long rusted tractor.
Rainforest Track Once this would have been a lovely spot for a family to visit with the wild life and flowers. Now humans hardly visit for it is known that wild dogs come here.. Left behind are some picnic tables that have faded and the paint has peeled. An old board walk, untrusted by human weight sits in the middle, winding it's way through the tangle in a giant U shape. The carpark is the only spot that had rubble left, everywhere else has either overgrown or is all dirt. This rainforest, if trecked through, can come out onto the beach but it does take some walking to reach it.
Neutral CrossRoads These crossroads are the one spot where all packs can come without conflict. Rumours have past through time that if blood falls onto the road then a curse will befall the one who drew it. Now loners seeking a home come here looking for a pack. Alphas, too, wander around here in search of those who they can take under their paws and invite into their pack. It's whatever alpha get's to the loner first, really, but it is otherwise a place of peace.
